RAIL LOADERS - Various Detroit area locations

We are hiring several full-time Rail Loaders for our multiple locations throughout the Metro Detroit Area. You must have a valid Driver’s License, be ok with working outside 100% of the time and in all weather conditions. This is a very fast paced location running 7 days a week and up to 12 hours a day. You must be physically capable of performing job duties.

These positions train on day shift and then will be put in the open shifts that are needed which can include evenings and nights. You MUST be flexible with all shifts and have availability for weekends. Shifts usually run 8-12 hours.

This position prepares railcars for loading, drives vehicles onto proper railcars, secures vehicles to railcars according to manufacturer and American Association of Railroad standards, and prepares railcars for transportation.

Well-established, high profile Finished Vehicle Logistics Company is seeking Yard Coordinators for various Metro Detroit Area locations.

The working hours for the shift are TBD; Weekend work is mandatory.

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
• Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.

• Confirms system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.

MIG WELDER - Harrison Township, MI

We are seeking a highly skilled welder to join our growing organization. In this position, you will work on-site to complete jobs on time and on budget. You will lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.

• Use powered saws, hand shears, and/or chipping knife when necessary
• Use portable grinder, hand file, and/or scraper when necessary

The shipping and receiving clerk position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.

• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.

• Perform process monitoring and troubleshooting part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality.
